Residential backflow testing is $50, in some cases, an additional fee of +$10 is charged for universal brass attachments to be added to your backflow which makes the initial test possible and helps streamline the process for future tests.
Commercial backflow testing varies. Double Check valve assemblies (“DC”) under 2″ are typically $85, whereas larger DC can be $100-$150 for the test. There may be additional charges for issues that arise like locked-off gate valves or issues with the vault.
Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, we need to have an adequate time available in a day to do the job so we have to base scheduling on location, the complexity of the job, and the availability of the technicians. We pride ourselves on punctuality so we like to have all tests completed within 7 days of the initial contact.
Yes, we are certified by the State of Georgia through the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP). To earn this certification, we have successfully completed the training through the Georgia Waste Water Institute (GWWI) and passed both a hands-on proctored exam and a written exam.
Backflow is any undesired reversal of the flow of water. This reversal can pull harmful contaminants from the destination back up the water pipe and contaminate the potable water source.
